June 2023 newsletter: Catalog vs. Thanos: Who came out on top?

Catalog is really, really powerful.

To prove it, our latest product went up against the almighty Thanos and won decisively. Don’t believe us? Just look at how unscathed Catalog was once the dust settled:

All jokes aside, we spent months building out what, we think, is one of the most capable products on the market today.

Designed to be a map of everything that exists in your organization Catalog can meaningfully help you level up your incident response.

Now, when someone gets paged, Catalog will navigate a map of your organization to identify exactly who’s responsible for any impacted services. No more wild goose chases to find out who owns what. Catalog does it for you.

This is really just the tip of the iceberg though and the potential truly is endless, so check out the announcement post to get caught up on the details.

In the meantime, here’s a quick look back on what was an eventful month of June.

Feature spotlight: Learning Flows

Catalog is the hottest new product on the block. But did you know that we also recently launched a Learning Flows feature?

With it, teams can define their entire post-incident process, from building timelines to exporting follow-up actions, and have incident.io make sure every step gets followed.

Here's a quick walkthrough of how it works.

Article of the month: How our product team uses Catalog

Funnily enough, when we were building Catalog, we had to create our own catalog in the process. This was a challenging process that involved many lessons learned, and we gained even more insight into the potential of Catalog along the way.

So we shared all the details about it in a blog post written by Sam, one of the lead engineers on the project.
