Like many companies, incident.io was born out of frustration at the status quo. The tools and processes for managing incidents with large scale systems were clunky, hard to use and constantly let us down.
In 2021, we quit our jobs, rented a room in an old fire station and set out to build the platform we’d always wanted to use.
Since then, over 800 companies—including Netflix, Airbnb, and Block—use incident.io to manage more than 250,000 incidents. Our platform has become the go-to place for engineering, product and support teams to respond quickly, coordinate clearly, and get better each time something breaks.
We’re a team of 80, spread across the UK and US. We obsess over making our product feel intuitive and a little bit magical. We care deeply about pace and pragmatism. And we’re building a team that’s full of smart and kind people you’d want on your side when things go wrong.
