Hello all 👋🏼 I’m the newest engineer joining the incident.io team. I’m a machine learning engineer by trade but am embracing the switch to a product built in Go with open arms.
Over the past 4 years I spent time at Ravelin, a startup using machine learning and graph networks to detect fraud for on-demand merchants like Deliveroo and Trainline. I also worked at Recycleye, a greentech startup using computer vision and robotics to sort recycling.
Things I like: unit tests (integration tests even more), simple over sexy solutions, thoughtfully written infrastructure, any tool that automates part of my job, startup culture, puns.
Things I dislike: the default terminal, pedestrians who don’t press the button at traffic lights, anyone referring to the pandemic as “panny D”.
