Hello – I’m Sam, and I’ve joined incident.io as a Product Engineer.
I’ve joined from Monzo, where I was the tech lead of the team who looked after user growth and the referrals scheme. When I joined, I helped launch a brand new account for businesses. My team looked after the process of onboarding new customers, which involved a nice mix of user-facing work and internal tools.
Before Monzo, I lived in Berlin and worked for SoundCloud. We used to get paged at 3am when Drake uploaded a new track, so I’m hoping I can bring some empathy to the process of managing incidents.
When I’m not sat in front of a computer, I enjoy listening to electronic music, cooking, and making unofficial merchandise for London startups. I also think I’ve upset everyone here in my first week by shooting to the top of our step count leaderboard…
I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to some projects, meeting our customers, and finding out how we can keep making tools that make incidents a breeze and a joy.
