We all know how frustrating a slow page load can feel, especially when you are just trying to find a specific set of alerts to dig into! So, we’ve done some investment to improve performance of the alerts page, especially when filtering common use cases, such as looking at the alerts for your team.
Filtering your alerts by catalog-backed attributes is now at least twice as fast, with some search scenarios sped up by 50x! If you are curious about what we did (hint, hint, it involves bloom filtering), keep your eyes peeled for a more technical write up coming to our blog soon!
What else we’ve shipped
- OpsLevel component dependencies are now synced into Catalog
- We now support sending SMS on-call notifications in Singapore
- Searching for teams is now 'fuzzy', so you don't have to match every character of the team's name
- We gave our emails templates a bit of a refresh with less boxes, no borders and making sure everything is left-aligned
- You can now tap on URLs in the title of escalations and alerts on the mobile app
- Setting a timestamp in a post-incident task now shows only the relevant timestamp
- Fixed an issue where unsetting the default timezone appeared to not work
- Re-enable the ability to configure whether we automatically send post incident task reminders
- Fixed a bug where a workflow with an update status page step would fail when one of its components have been archived
- Fixed an issue where custom fields wouldn't be filtered correctly when dependent on a fully derived field
