Bi-directional sync for ServiceNow and Azure DevOps

February 24, 2026

We know how important it is for organizations to keep other systems in sync with incident.io, either for compliance or regulatory needs, or for keeping other teams abreast of relevant incidents. Up until recently, this only meant pushing information from incident.io to other systems of record.

As of now, we support two-way syncing between incident.io and ServiceNow and Azure DevOps! This means that any comments added to the external incident ticket will now be synced back into incident.io, including:

  • Showing comments (and any associated images) in the incident.io dashboard timeline
  • Posting new comments in either Slack or Microsoft Teams incident channels

This is a great way to ensure that if another team is primarily using ServiceNow or Azure DevOps, that any important updates are shared within the incident.io incident to support speedier coordination and remediation.

As mentioned, we have built this bi-directional syncing for ServiceNow and Azure DevOps, but can extend this for other integrations as well. Just share additional requests with help@incident.io.
