About incident.io

incident.io is the leading all-in-one platform for incident management. From small bugs to major outages, incident.io helps teams respond fast, reduce downtime, and improve every time something goes wrong.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped 800 companies—including Netflix, Airbnb and Block—resolve over 250,000 incidents. Every month, more than 30,000 responders across Engineering, Product and Support use incident.io to fix things faster.

We’re a small team that cares deeply about pragmatism, quality, magic, and pace. We've raised $100M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners and Point Nine, alongside many angel investors who are founders and executives of world-class companies.

The Team

With this first hire and leader of the Revenue Operations team, we’re looking to build a function which serves as a force multiplier and helps accelerate revenue growth by tabling, driving forward, and rolling out strategic initiatives spanning across sales and success coverage design, incentive design, enablement, territory prioritization and allocation, quota allocation, forecasting, BAU cadence management, tooling investment, systems optimization and several other areas - all of which are aimed at helping us onboard, equip, and make productive A+ revenue talent at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with the CRO, Sales, Success, & Company leadership, Finance, Marketing and other cross-functional peers as necessary, to help design and execute on key initiatives aimed at making new and existing revenue team members more effective and productive in their respective pre- and post-sales functions.

  • Help support day-to-day/business-as-usual activities related to the revenue team’s operating cadence management, forecasting, key business metrics reporting, approval workflows etc.

  • Partner closely with the data team to arm individual contributors and leaders alike with appropriate reporting/dashboards with key performance and/or business metrics so they can maintain command over their territory/line of business and take appropriate measures to address potential issues.

  • Owning, administering, and supporting with the help of a sales systems engineering resource (to be hired) the sales, and as needed, marketing tooling stack leveraged by our front line teams. You will also be responsible for consolidating said stack as necessary and for owning any vendor negotiations as required.

  • Leading all aspects of the revenue operations function - market/segment sizing, sales coverage design, quota + territory allocation, incentive plan design, support with fiscal year planning, enablement etc. until critical mass is reached for us to hire dedicated resources within the Revenue Operations team to own each sub-function.

What experience you need to be successful:

  • Proven track record in a similar role, preferably at a high-growth B2B SaaS company which has reached scale (> $100M ARR/Revenue).

  • Have overseen/run the Sales/Revenue Operations function either globally or at the theater level (Americas, EMEA, or APJC) at a B2B Enterprise Software scale-up - with experience managing other sales/revenue operations team members and supporting both pre- and post-sales sales revenue functions.

  • Extremely strong analytical, presentation, and program management skills - as you will be owning devising, securing buy-in around, and rolling out any/all strategic initiatives as deemed appropriate by revenue and company leadership.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, concise manner to all audiences (cross-functional/company leadership and front-line revenue team members), and you’re comfortable challenging assumptions in external and internal settings.

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where things can be ambiguous and you need to operate with autonomy and build resource sets that didn’t previously exist for your current peers and for ones that eventually follow.
