incident.io is the leading all-in-one platform for incident management. From small bugs to major outages, incident.io helps teams respond fast, reduce downtime, and improve every time something goes wrong.
Since launching in 2021, we’ve helped 800 companies—including Netflix, Airbnb and Block—resolve over 250,000 incidents. Every month, more than 30,000 responders across Engineering, Product and Support use incident.io to fix things faster.
We’re a small team that cares deeply about pragmatism, quality, magic, and pace. We've raised $100M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners and Point Nine, alongside many angel investors who are founders and executives of world-class companies.
We're hiring a Founders Associate to work directly with our CEO, Stephen, on the most important problems in the business. You’ll be based in London and work closely with our leadership team.
This role is about giving leverage to our leaders. You’ll pick up a mix of strategic and hands-on work sometimes shaping big decisions, other times rolling up your sleeves to get the basics right. Both matter. You might be building a hiring plan, analysing a pricing model, chasing down data for a board deck, or drafting a go-to-market launch plan. The common thread: it's important, and it needs doing well.
You’ll be dropped into unfamiliar situations. You’ll need to learn quickly, and be trusted to make good calls. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, happy to work things out from first principles, and confident context switching often. The work is not always glamorous (not much of startup work is!), but it’s always meaningful.
It’s a great fit for someone who’s curious, quick, and thrives in ambiguity. It’s a perfect role for future founders. You’ll get a front-row seat to how a business scales—ideal if you want to start your own company one day. It’s also great if you want exposure before choosing where to specialise. Previous folks in similar roles have gone on to lead teams in Product and Sales Engineering.
